Chili Cooking Instructions

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, stir in chili mix, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes stirring occasionally, salt and pepper to taste add ground beef, chicken, or sausage, serves 6!

Corn Bread Mixing Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 Degrees F. In a bowl, add Grandma Lu's Mexican Cornbread Mix to one cup of water and blend well. Pour batter into 8 x 8 greased baking pan and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares. Makes 8 - 4" squares!

Enchilada Soup Cooking Instructions

Combine 8 cups of cold water with soup mix and stir to a rolling boil. Add one 10 oz. can of chicken, lower heat to simmer cook for 15 minutes, stir every 6 minutes. When cooked, garnish with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips. Makes 8 cups! *Option 2* Use 7 cups of water and one cup of cream or evaporated milk for a creamy soup!

Meatloaf Mixing Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. In a large bowl, add Grandma Lu's Italian Meatloaf Mix with 1 and a half pounds of ground meat (Beef, Pork, or Turkey). Add 1/2 cup of ketchup and 1 egg. Place mixture in a 5 x 8 loaf pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

Mixing Instructions For Making A Cheese Ball or Log

Mix 16 oz. of cream cheese at room temperature, shape into a ball or log. Refrigerate for 3 hours, roll in almonds, pecans, or coconut. Serve with crackers.

Mixing Instructions For Making A Pie

Mix 8 oz. of cream cheese at room temperature with one packet of pie mix. Fold in 8 oz. of whipped topping. Pour into a 9" graham cracker pie crust. Refrigerate or freeze for 1 hour. Try spreading it on toast, making a cake or as a dip!

Pasta Fagioli Cooking Instructions

Combine 8 cups of cold water with soup mix and stir to a rolling boil. Lower heat to medium cook for 20 minutes. Add pasta pack and cook for 15 minutes. *Option 2* Add chopped sausage and/or one can of diced tomatoes. Garnish with parmesan cheese. Makes 8 cups!

Potato Soup Cooking Instructions

Combine 8 cups of cold water with soup mix and stir to a rolling boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Warm 8 oz of cream and add to soup (low fat or evaporated milk can be used). Add chicken, shrimp or crap meat. Makes 9 cups!

Queso Soup Cooking Instructions

Combine 7 cups of cold water with soup mix and stir to a rolling boil. Add one 10 oz. can of chicken, lower heat to simmer cook for 15 minutes, stir every 5 minutes. When cooked, garnish with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips. Makes 8 cups! *Option 2* Use 6 cups of water and one cup of cream or evaporated milk for a creamy soup!

Rice Cooking Instructions

Add package to 4 cups of cold water and 1 tablespoon of butter. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Salt to taste. *Microwave Cooking* Add package to 4 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of butter in a microwave container. Cover and microwave for 25 minutes. Salt to taste. Makes 7 cups! *Option 2* One can of chicken, 1 cup of diced sausage or 1 cup of ground beef while cooking.

Roman Tomato Soup Cooking Instructions

Combine 7 cups of cold water with soup mix and 3 oz. of tomato paste, stir to a rolling boil, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Warm 8 oz. of cream and add to soup (low fat or evaporated milk can be used). Makes 8 cups!

Tropical Chicken Salad Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, add Grandma Lu's Tropical Chicken Salad Mix with one cup of mayonaise. Drain 1 small can of crushed pineapple. Add 1 can of chicken (10 oz or 13 oz), blend well. Refrigerate for one hour or more before serving. Makes 3 and a half cups!
